Authenticated cross-user file deletion via unchecked video ID
Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025
Authorization bypass in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo before 20.1 allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' media files. view/list-images.delete.json.php derives a media directory from the supplied videos_id and calls unlink() on the supplied name without verifying Video::canEdit() for that video. Any authenticated account can target a different user's video identifier, causing deletion of its named file without broader reported access.
