Unauthenticated image upload and deletion via unchecked endpoints
Published Dec 17, 2025 · Updated Dec 17, 2025
Missing authentication in AVideo ImageGallery before 20.1 allows remote attackers to upload or delete gallery images without credentials. The upload.json.php and delete.json.php endpoints accept a video identifier and save or remove files without calling User::isLogged or checking ownership. Exploitation requires the ImageGallery plugin and an image-type video; it alters or removes gallery files but does not establish code execution.
