Reflected XSS via unsanitized WindowContext script interpolation
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2026
Reflected XSS in MailEnable before 10.54 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via a crafted WindowContext query value. The compose.aspx handler places the GET value inside window.location in a script block without sanitization, letting input close ProcessContextSwitchResult(), inject script, and comment out remaining code. Execution requires a victim to open the crafted link or trigger it while sending mail, exposing non-HttpOnly cookies and actions available to that session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
