CVE-2025-34419

Local code execution via planted MEAISM.DLL

Published Dec 10, 2025 · Updated Dec 10, 2025

DLL search-order hijacking in MailEnable before 10.54 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through the administrative executable. The executable searches its installation directory for MEAISM.DLL without enforcing a secure search order or validating the library's integrity, then loads a planted copy at startup. Exploitation requires local write access to that directory and runs attacker-controlled code with the administrative process's privileges.
