Browser script execution via unsanitized contact ID
Published Dec 9, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2026
Reflected XSS in MailEnable before 10.54 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted ContactDetails.aspx link. The Mobile/ContactDetails.aspx handler inserts the GET Id value into a script block without sanitizing it, letting payload syntax terminate the surrounding function and run attacker-controlled code. Exploitation requires a victim to open the link, and code runs in the victim's browser context, enabling session-data theft or actions as that user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
