Unauthenticated vendor registration via unrestricted role selection
Published May 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Privilege escalation in FluxBuilder MStore API 4.17.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to register as WCFM store vendors. The FlutterUserController::register method accepts an attacker-controlled role during account creation without restricting it to a customer role. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires WCFM Marketplace to be installed and active; the resulting account receives marketplace vendor capabilities.
