CVE-2025-34332Public exploit

SYSTEM privilege escalation via writable service scripts

Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Local privilege escalation in AudioCodes Fax Server and Auto Attendant IVR 2.6.23 and earlier allows local users to execute commands as SYSTEM. The ajaxPost.php service controls invoke start.bat, stop.bat, and restart.bat with PHP system(), while Authenticated Users receive modify access to those scripts. A local authenticated account can replace a helper script; the next administrator-initiated service action runs its commands with full host control.
