Unauthenticated code execution via arbitrary file write
Published Nov 19, 2025 · Updated Nov 20, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in AudioCodes Fax Server and Auto Attendant IVR 2.6.23 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. The saveScript branch in AudioCodes_files/utils/IVR/diagram/ajaxScript.php passes attacker-controlled name and value parameters to file_put_contents without authenticating the request or constraining the destination path. The exposed web endpoint permits an unauthenticated request to place a PHP web shell in the document root, where Apache executes it as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
