Authenticated code execution via unsafe PHP deserialization
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
PHP object injection in BeWelcome Rox before commit c60bf04 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via crafted recovery data. RoxPostHandler::getCallbackAction passes formkit_memory_recovery to unserialize(), while RoxModelBase::getMemoryCookie unserializes the bwRemember cookie without validating serialized objects. A valid low-privilege session is required; available gadget chains permit arbitrary file writes or server-side code execution and full site compromise.
