OS command injection in Nagios XI before 2026R1 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to execute arbitrary commands. CCM Run Check insufficiently validates or escapes parameters before incorporating them into backend shell command lines, allowing shell metacharacters to alter execution. Successful exploitation runs commands as the web application user and can lead to control of the underlying Linux host.
