Authenticated command execution via certificate removal
Published Oct 30, 2025 · Updated Oct 30, 2025
Command injection in Nagios Network Analyzer before 2024R2.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via LDAP certificate removal. The LDAP certificate removal function passes inadequately sanitized certificate input to an operating-system command, allowing shell metacharacters to alter the command. Administrative authentication is required, and exploitation runs arbitrary commands with the web application service's privileges on the underlying Linux host.
