Stored XSS via unsanitized map entry names
Published Dec 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 14, 2026
Stored XSS in Advantech WISE-DeviceOn Server before 5.4 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The /rmm/v1/devicemap/building endpoint stores the name parameter, and the map list UI renders it without HTML sanitization. Creating a map entry requires authentication, and execution requires another user to view or interact with it, exposing that user's session and actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
