CVE-2025-34252Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via DNS-activated malicious library

Published Oct 7, 2025 · Updated Oct 7, 2025

Embedded malicious code in five NetSarang 5.0 applications allows remote attackers to execute code through a DNS-activated backdoor. The signed nssock2.dll in Xmanager Enterprise Build 1232, Xmanager Build 1045, Xshell Build 1322, Xftp Build 1218, and Xlpd Build 1220 queries month-derived domains and accepts a TXT-delivered key that decrypts its second stage. Execution requires installation and launch of a trojanized build; once activated, the library downloads and runs code and stores encrypted payloads in a registry-backed VFS.
