Stored script execution via unescaped network input
Published Nov 6, 2025 · Updated Nov 6, 2025
Stored XSS in NetworksController.addNetworkAction() in Advantech WebAccess/VPN before 1.1.5 allows remote authenticated users to run script. The action stores user-controlled network input without sufficient validation or output escaping, causing the management interface to render it as executable browser content. High-privilege access is required to plant the payload, and a victim must view the affected interface; execution occurs in that victim's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
