SYSTEM code execution via disabled certificate validation
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Certificate validation bypass in Vasion Print Host before 25.1.102 and Application before 25.1.1413 allows attackers to execute code as SYSTEM. On Windows clients, the administrator-set IgnoreCertificateFailures registry value suppresses TLS server-certificate checks, allowing intercepted HTTPS driver traffic to supply a malicious DLL. Exploitation requires the override to be enabled and control of the HTTPS path; the injected driver runs as SYSTEM, while local junction-point redirection enables privilege escalation to SYSTEM.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
