Sensitive-data decryption via embedded cryptographic keys
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Hardcoded-key exposure in Vasion Print Application before 25.1.1413 and Virtual Appliance Host before 25.1.102 allows attackers to decrypt SaaS IDs. The SaasIdEncryption trait falls back to clear-text development keys shipped in application containers and uses the selected key for AES-256-CBC operations. Obtaining a container image or filesystem read access exposes the shared secret, enabling confidentiality loss for protected external identifiers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
