DOM-based cross-site scripting in IBM Aspera Faspex 5.0.0 through 5.0.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via malicious URLs. The Web UI processes attacker-controlled URL data in the client without neutralizing it before browser execution. An authenticated attacker must persuade another user to open the URL; the script then runs in that trusted session and can disclose credentials.
