Unauthenticated SSRF via unvalidated printer hostname
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
SSRF in Vasion Print Application before 25.1.1413 and Virtual Appliance Host before 25.1.102 allows remote attackers to read internal resources. The unauthenticated update.php endpoint builds HTTP URLs from attacker-controlled printer hostnames, follows redirects in file_get_contents(), and returns fetched content. Internet reachability alone is sufficient; disclosed responses include cloud metadata credentials, enabling reconnaissance and data exfiltration.
