Unauthenticated device modification via exposed PHP scripts
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Missing authentication in Vasion Print before 20.0.2786 or 22.0.1049, depending on component, allows remote attackers to modify managed devices. About 120 network-reachable PHP scripts in the console_release directory expose printer and RFID management operations without invoking an authentication check. No credentials or user interaction are required; requests can reconfigure printers, add or delete RFID badge devices, and disrupt managed printing.
