CVE-2025-34217Network attack vector

Root access via hardcoded SSH authorized key

Published Sep 30, 2025 · Updated Sep 30, 2025

Hardcoded SSH credentials in Vasion Print Virtual Appliance Host and Application allow remote attackers to obtain root access. The printerlogic account trusts a fixed public key in ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, and its printerlogic_ssh group receives NOPASSWD: ALL sudo access. Exploitation requires the matching private key and reachable SSH; successful authentication grants unrestricted appliance control.
