Admin-level code execution via embedded firmware-signing key
Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in Vasion Print Application before 20.0.2014 and Virtual Appliance Host before 22.0.862 allow attackers to execute code. Shipped Docker image layers store a private GPG key in cleartext and its passphrase in image metadata, enabling creation of accepted update packages. Attackers need administrative appliance access to extract the key and upload a crafted package, which the appliance executes with full system impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
