CVE-2025-34207Network attack vector

Lateral movement via unchecked SSH agent forwarding

Published Sep 29, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025

SSH misconfiguration in Vasion Print Application before 20.0.2786 and Virtual Appliance Host before 22.0.1049 lets attackers use SSH credentials. The ssh.config.developers file enables agent forwarding while disabling host-key validation, and stack-cmd.sh connects without verifying server identity. A container must first be compromised and a developer must connect with an active SSH agent; the attacker can then reuse that agent for unrestricted lateral movement.
