Traffic interception via disabled TLS certificate validation
Published Sep 19, 2025 · Updated Sep 19, 2025
Improper TLS validation in Vasion Print Application and Virtual Appliance Host allows man-in-the-middle attackers to alter traffic. Versions before 20.0.2786 and 22.0.1049, respectively, disable libcurl certificate and hostname checks in printer helpers and microservice clients. An attacker must intercept those network paths to read or modify print jobs, configuration, authentication tokens, and service traffic.
