Insecure temporary-file handling in Vasion Print Host before 25.1.102 and Application before 25.1.1413 allows local users to gain SYSTEM access. PrinterInstallerClient writes as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM beneath the user-controlled AppData\Local\Temp directory and follows attacker-placed symbolic links to arbitrary files. A local unprivileged account can overwrite or create files with SYSTEM authority, enabling configuration or binary replacement.
