CVE-2025-34183Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authentication bypass via plaintext passwords in web logs

Published Sep 16, 2025 · Updated Sep 16, 2025

Sensitive-data exposure in Ilevia EVE X1 Server 4.7.18.0.eden and earlier allows remote attackers to retrieve plaintext credentials. The web server exposes /80-history/eve-server.log and /80-history/eve.log, where authentication logging writes the admin password in cleartext. No authentication is required to fetch the files; reuse of the disclosed administrator credential grants control of the building-automation server.
