File disclosure and SSRF via SAML external entities
Published Jul 22, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026
XXE in the ETQ Reliance CG SAML handler before SE.2025.1 or 2025.1.2 allows remote attackers to read sensitive files. SAMLManager::parseXmlMessage creates a DocumentBuilder without disabling external entities, then parses the attacker-controlled SAMLResponse. The pre-authentication SSO endpoint can expose local file contents through parser errors or issue server-side requests when outbound access is available.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
