Database query manipulation via undisclosed Web Server input
Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Nov 19, 2025
SQL injection in the Commvault Software Web Server allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries without authentication. Commvault has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or query-construction operation that mishandles untrusted input. Exposure is limited to systems with both CommServe and Web Server roles; other installations in the same environment are unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=11.32.0 <=11.32.93
- Affected versionversion=11.36.0 <=11.36.51
- Affected versionversion=11.38.0 <=11.38.19
