Victim-privileged actions via unvalidated CSRF token
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in the Wimi Teamwork API before 7.38.17 allows remote attackers to perform actions with a victim's privileges. The API checks only that a JSON csrf_token field exists, accepts an arbitrary or empty value, and executes the authenticated request. Exploitation requires a logged-in victim's browser to submit the crafted JSON POST; the victim's permissions bound account takeover, privilege escalation, and service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
