Unauthenticated file read via net_html.cgi
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026
Arbitrary file read in Merit LILIN DVR firmware before 2.0b60_20200207 allows remote attackers to read configuration files. The /z/zbin/net_html.cgi endpoint returns sensitive filesystem content without authentication, including /zconf/service.xml. Network access alone is sufficient, and the disclosed configuration can enable chained command injection against the recorder.
