CVE-2025-34129Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Elevated command execution via unsanitized server fields

Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026

OS command injection in Merit LILIN DVR firmware before 2.0b60_20200207 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands. The /z/zbin/dvr_box service accepts an uploaded service.xml through SetConfiguration and passes unsanitized FTP or NTP Server values into shell commands. Access to the configuration interface and a later FTP or NTP synchronization are required, after which injected commands run with elevated privileges.
