CVE-2025-34123Public exploit

Code execution via VSC Name attribute overflow

Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in VideoCharge Studio 2.12.3.685 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted .VSC file. The .VSC configuration parser fails to bound the XML Name attribute value, allowing it to overwrite stack and SEH control data. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which the payload runs with that user's Windows privileges.
