Unauthenticated file disclosure via opcode 0x43
Published Jul 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Improper access control in TinaSoft EasyCafe Server 2.2.14 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through TCP port 831. The server accepts custom-protocol opcode 0x43 with an absolute path and returns the requested file without authentication or confirmation of a preceding client-transfer request. No credentials or user interaction are required; any network host that reaches the service can retrieve files readable by the server process.
