Authenticated command execution via unsanitized cmd_str
Published Jul 15, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
OS command injection in ITRS OP5 Monitor 7.1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands via cmd_str. The command_test.php endpoint passes the cmd_str value from the Test this command function to the operating system without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Access to the command-testing function is required, and injected commands run as the unprivileged web application user.
