SSRF via unvalidated speech-recognition URL
Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
SSRF in AIAS 20250308 allows remote authenticated users to make the server request arbitrary URLs through speech-recognition APIs. The enAsrForLongAudioUrl and zhAsrForLongAudioUrl handlers pass the url parameter directly to new URL(url).openStream() without destination validation or filtering. Low-privileged access is required, and successful requests can reach network locations accessible from the AIAS host.
