Published Jul 10, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2026
OS command injection in VICIdial 2.9 RC1 through 2.13 RC1 allows remote attackers to execute commands through HTTP Basic Authentication. vicidial_sales_viewer.php passes the supplied Basic Authentication password directly to exec() without adequate sanitization. The path is reachable without credentials only when non-default password encryption is enabled, and commands run as the web server user.
