CVE-2025-34074Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via scheduled task file write

Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Mar 23, 2026

Code injection in Lucee 5.0, 6.0, and all versions with scheduled tasks allows remote authenticated users to execute service-account code. The scheduled-task handler accepts an attacker-controlled URL and destination path, retrieves a remote .cfm file, writes it under the webroot, and runs it without integrity, path, or execution controls. Administrative access to /lucee/admin/web.cfm is required, and the resulting code runs with Lucee service-account privileges.
