CVE-2025-34070Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrative access via unauthenticated GFIAgent proxy

Published Jul 2, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Missing authentication in GFI Software Kerio Control 9.4.5 allows remote attackers to access privileged administrative APIs. The GFIAgent service exposes /appliances on port 7995 without authentication, then accepts its returned UUID in the app-id header so the port 7996 /proxy handler forwards requests to the port 4081 administrative portal. Exploitation requires network access to ports 7995 and 7996 or reachability through the non-transparent proxy, and it grants administrative API access without credentials.
