Unauthenticated root command execution via unsanitized wget parameters

OS command injection in AVTECH DVR firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root through an unauthenticated CGI request. Search.cgi?action=cgi_query passes the username or queryb64str parameter to the wget system command without sanitization or verification. Network access to the DVR web interface is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants complete control of the device.
