CVE-2025-34053Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated endpoint access via .cab substring

Published Jul 1, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026

Authentication bypass in AVTECH IP camera, DVR, and NVR devices allows remote attackers to access protected web endpoints. The streamd web server uses strstr() to treat any request URL containing ".cab" as an unauthenticated cabinet-file request. No credentials are required, and a crafted query to Config.cgi can expose protected account configuration, including stored credentials.
