Unauthenticated file read via picUrl path traversal
Published Jun 26, 2025 · Updated Nov 29, 2025
Path traversal in WeiPHP 5.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through crafted picUrl POST values. The _download_imgage endpoint passes picUrl into file-handling logic without restricting traversal sequences to an intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposure is limited to files readable by the web-server process.
