CVE-2025-3403Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored credential disclosure via password-field source values

Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025

Credential exposure in VIVOTEK NVR models ND8422P, ND9525P, and ND9541P allows remote authenticated users to read stored passwords. The settings.html camera-management and SMTP email forms place saved passwords in HTML input values, while password fields merely mask their display. An account with high privileges and network access can inspect page source to recover camera and SMTP credentials; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
