Browser script execution via stored Friendship Link payload
Published Apr 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in pb-cms 2.0 Friendship Link Handler allows remote authenticated users to inject script through /admin#links. The back-end Friendship link function saves an inserted payload and renders it without neutralizing script content. Administrative privileges are required to save the payload, and another user's interaction triggers script execution in that user's browser context.
