Unauthenticated memory corruption via crafted ENC command
Published Apr 7, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
Buffer overflow in PCMan FTP Server 2.0.7 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory by sending a crafted ENC command over an FTP connection. The ENC command handler processes attacker-controlled command data without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds; the exact function and length threshold are undisclosed. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can interrupt the service or alter its process memory.
