CVE-2025-3364

Root-privileged filesystem access via SSH chroot escape

Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025

Chroot escape in the SSH service of HGiga PowerStation before x64.6.2.213 allows local users with root privileges to access the full file system. TWCERT/CC has not disclosed the SSH-service locus or the operation that incorrectly preserves root privileges across the chroot boundary. Exploitation requires an existing root-privileged SSH session; successful escape exposes files and services outside the restricted environment.
