Local code execution via uncontrolled search path
Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
Uncontrolled search path handling in NVIDIA Nsight Monitor before CUDA Toolkit 13.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. NVIDIA has not disclosed the searched location, loading operation, or how attacker-controlled content enters that search path. Exploitation requires low privileges and user interaction; injected code runs with the Monitor application's privileges and can alter or disclose data or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
