OS command injection in NVIDIA Nsight Systems before CUDA Toolkit 13.1 allows local users to execute commands via a malicious script argument. The gfx_hotspot recipe passes a malicious string supplied to process_nsys_rep_cli.py into an OS command without safe neutralization. Exploitation requires manual script invocation and runs commands with the invoking user's privileges, enabling code execution, data changes, disclosure, or service interruption.
