CVE-2025-33221

Data tampering and service interruption via permission misassignment

Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026

Improper input validation in NVIDIA Display Driver for Windows and Linux allows local users to tamper with data or interrupt service. The kernel driver assigns incorrect permissions to a critical resource, but NVIDIA has not disclosed the resource or input path involved. Local low-privilege access is required; successful exploitation changes data or interrupts service without disclosing confidential data.
