CVE-2025-33215

Storage interruption via out-of-range VIRTIO-BLK pointer offset

Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026

Use of an out-of-range pointer offset in NVIDIA DOCA SNAP-4 Service Container allows guest OS users to interrupt the DPA storage service. The VIRTIO-BLK component applies an out-of-range pointer offset while processing crafted messages from a guest VM. A malicious guest VM is required; successful exploitation denies DPA service and makes storage unavailable to other VMs.
