CVE-2025-33177

Service interruption via miscounted NvMap memory allocations

Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025

Resource exhaustion in NVIDIA Jetson Linux and IGX OS allows local users to interrupt service through NvMap memory overallocation. NvMap improperly tracks memory allocations, allowing allocation accounting to diverge from actual consumption; NVIDIA has not disclosed the affected function or request path. Low-privileged local access is required, and successful exploitation exhausts memory without reported data disclosure or modification.
