CVE-2025-33126Network attack vector

Authenticated crash via incorrect buffer-size calculation

Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025

Incorrect buffer-size calculation in IBM Db2 High Performance Unload allows remote authenticated users to crash the program. IBM identifies the faulty operation only as calculation of a buffer size and has not disclosed the affected routine, input field, or allocation path. Reachability requires authenticated network access, and the documented consequence is a process crash with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
